Wow I couldn't disagree more. Danny's voice has an r&b sound that Taylor's doesn't. Taylor was great but is in a totally different genre than Danny. Danny has more range as well. I hope he goes all the way :)

Taylor, and Danny for that matter, are as bland as they go. Taylor's career have never taken off, and so would Danny's if every he wins AI.

Taylor Hicks is hot and so is Danny actually. Danny does have the "white soul" quality to his voice that Taylor has (and what's wrong with that?) but I think they both are unique. If everyone is saying that Danny is the frontrunner already, than Taylor couldn't have been as bad as all those idiots out there claim him to be ! Lil is mediocre and sounds like any other singer out there currently and Adam screams too much when he sings, although he is unique too and he's growing on me. I love little Alexis with the "pink" hair, she's great too. My picks for the Top 3 are: Danny, Adam and Alexis at this point but things can change!

When Danny is playing on stage with Snoop Dogg, Waylon Jennings, Keb Mo, invitedd to tour Ray Charles estate and given one of his coats and his signatature piano cuff links, because Ray would have liked Taylor and the opportunity to record in Ray's studio, something nobody' sdone since his passing, then we'll discuss whether he is even in Taylor's league. The only problem with AI is Simon, he hates Taylor and the new platform sucks. After the few weeks of Idol when Simon is back to trashing Taylor, I haven't been watching. Idol is on it's way down and Simon is on his way to hopefully being deported.

Taylor Hicks is way more handsome than Danny - But Danny is my fav this time...similarities, Maybe,
but I think it's that kind of getting into the song kind of similarity. Taylor and Danny both do that - and
man do they please the audience.

1. Danny Gokey does not resemble or sound like Taylor Hicks who is really WOODEN. Danny is full of life and fun and a great singer with a totally different sound.

2. Please go and download the iTunes copy of Danny's performance of PYT and you will see that he was not in any way sweaty. However, male singers are allowed to sweat all they want to on stage - just take a look at my all time favorite singer, Scott Weiland, and you will see some sexy sweaty greatness.
