Actually, I think Butler's character is a Bounty Hunter. As far as I can tell, bounty hunters don't kill, at least not unless it is self defense, so he's not playing a hitman. If Jen's character jumped bail then he goes after her to bring her back on behalf of whoever posted bail for her and/or the bailbondsman. I believe this is going to be a comedy very, very different from Mr. & Mrs. Smith although the media keeps trying to find parallels between everything Jen & Jolie do. That gets annoying but it's what both of them.

Thank-you for pointing this out Nikki. I keep reading about how Butler's character is a hitman sent to kill Jen's character, yet the same blogs/journalists/media that are reporting this are failing to read the plot description posted at IMDB, or for that matter acknowledge that even from the title (Bounty Hunter) their plotline would make no sense. As far as legitimate reports on the plot are concerned Jen plays a journalist that skips bail and her ex-husband (Gerard) is a bounty hunter assigned the task of finding her. It appears that the two have a contentious relationship and he is only too happy to have the task of tracking her down, and they both spend much of the movie bickering and pushing each other's buttons. It seems that it will be an action-comedy, and like you said, nothing like MAMS. Of course, there would be no catchy headline to run with if those reporting on the movie could not invent a tie to BP/AJ!

Love Jennifer! Wish the press would drop Brad and Angelina thing! No other divorcee has been constantly compared to their exs new girl friend/lover like they do to Jennifer. It is past old! Can't wait to see this movie.

Why does Anjelina have to be mentioned every time an article is written about Jennifer Aniston. This what the media did to Lady Diana and Camilla. Both women, know the loss and grieving with the media looking for even one word to write a headline even if it is for sure. I am sorry, but Anjelina, is and will alway's be known as odd and may God help her with the demonic forces thatdrive her from one thing to another. Jennifer, should run the Oscars as the performance of a woman scorned with nothing but..the show must go on..did it. Anjelina: News Flash..UNCOOL...is not the word I would have used. How can you live with yourself knowing you broke the marriage and then turn the tables. You are a Sydney Sheldon Novel......The Other Side of Midnight!!! Jen deserves better and a we see..Jen was stronger than Brad..as Anjelina..projects this while Jen took the rap.
