Have you ever looked at her schedule Jess?? She is out of town ard 15-20 days out of the month! Seriously why do people stick up for Kate and Jon??? Do the research and then make a educated opinion!

Kate lies a lot. She says she is a stay at home mom, but she spends more than half her time away from home either promoting books that she said she wrote (although the first one was written by Beth Carson, not her, and the second is more a scrap book and not a book at all) or lining up promotional deals. She says she doesn't have a nanny but then who is looking after the kids when she is away 20 days out of the month and apparently Jon is out drinking and partying. There's got to be someone more than a "helper" that comes for a few hours a day.

She says she is a devout Christian, but rarely goes to church, which is not that big a deal... but she seems to lie a lot, she certainly seems to be more interested in appearances than in substance, more concerned about money and celebrity than in the welfare of her kids, and more into herself than anyone else.

People make the choices that they make, but when they use lies and deceit to exploit their kids, to me it crosses a line.

Jess, you are sadly uninformed. Kate has been traveling at least a couple of weeks a MONTH on her book tours since summer ended. Before that, she was gone at least twice a MONTH for speaking engagements. The only time those children see their mother is when she arranges a layover in PA so that they can film a few more episodes of the show.

She is home with her kids more than most of you on this board. It's not ok for a mother to travel for a couple weeks a year for a book tour, but it is perfectly acceptable to work Monday-Friday 8-5 while your kids are raised by someone else? You people are pathetic.

Yesterday she as at a book signing event in Arkansas. Tomorrow she'll be somewhere else.

As well as today being Mothers Day it is also the sextuplets 5th birthday.

I'll bet she'll be home because the cameras will be rolling. Otherwise, she isn't there much.

Kate should act more like a mother to her 8 children, instead of leaving them in the care of hired help. The show can only have a negative effect on the kids development, and if she were a real mother, she should more concerned about her kids' welfare than in turning them into marketable commodities.
